Infinition Inc. offers CW Doppler tracking radars capable to measure in real-time the radial velocity and the azimuth and elevation of a moving target with a high degree of accuracy. From the primary measured data, target position can be determined as well as other related results.
CW Doppler radars consist of the following elements:
Our tracking radar solutions operate at X-band (10.5 GHz nominally).
To obtain long term accuracy and stability, the mechanical design of the antenna system has been optimized with maximum strength and rigidity. The construction is also very rugged and can sustain the shock and vibration from gun blasts. The system has a built in camera system that is used for alignment and calibration purposes.
The operator console application is based on the TestCenter software used with conventional radar heads and it has been extended with features and functions specific to tracking radars. The software offers a very intuitive graphical user interface for controlling the real-time functions of the radar. It also has extensive post-processing capabilities allowing target flight details to be extracted quickly from the Doppler signals. Operators already familiar with our conventional Doppler radar systems can quickly learn how to operate our tracking radars.
